At LCSS, we believe that the golden years should be lived with dignity, comfort, and joy. Our Elderly Home Care Services program is crafted to support seniors in their homes, offering a blend of practical assistance and heartfelt companionship. Available across BC, Alberta, and Saskatchewan, we’re here to ensure that aging isn’t just about getting by, but about thriving in a familiar and comforting environment.
Parent-Peer Support Groups
These groups are designed for parents who have challenges with their children and may be involved with MCFD.
- Groups are run one evening a week for eight weeks;
- Snacks provided;
- Childcare provided.

YAYA Nanny Placement Program
At Lambent Community Services Society, we are excited to introduce our YAYA Nanny Placement Program, a dedicated service designed to connect families with compassionate, skilled, and trustworthy nannies. Recognizing the importance of reliable childcare, our program offers a personalized approach to match each family's unique needs with nannies who are not only experienced but also committed to creating a nurturing and safe environment for children.
2SLGBTQIA+ Support Groups
This group is open access to the 2SLGBTQIA+ community including: refugees, newcomers to Canada, and all others. Couples and singles welcome! Everyone Belongs!
- Group runs once a week, ongoing;

International Student Counseling
These counseling sessions are designed for international students who are adapting to life in Canada
- Sessions are done on an outreach basis;
- Nominal Fee charged;
DBT Group
The DBT group is designed for those individuals needing support to manage issues such as depression, bipolar, etc.
- 2 hour group sessions are weekly for 24 weeks;
- Snacks provided.
